DS was born 6 weeks premature and spent 3 weeks in the neonatal unit after he was born. Looking at him now, you'd never know he started out so tiny.

Aww! I think that about my daughter - lookin' at her now you'd never know she was early. She was 4 weeks early but didn't go into NICU - she was almost 5½ lb.

I just found your blog and was caught by these photos. I can so relate to these - I think about the only place you see polaroid photos these days is in NICU photos. I have a number of my own. My DS was born 13 weeks premature and spent 10 1/2 weeks in the NICU before coming home. He is now a sturdy (and bossy) 3 1/2 year old and I can't believe myself how small he was (2lb 10oz). I'll be coming back to check your blog.
