Last Thursday I received an email from Grace which completely took my breath away! I was just utterly flabbergasted (if that's how you spell it) and went around all day with a silly grin on my face!
Why? Well, if you notice in this post, I said how much I liked CA Wells's Pyramid Etui, but doubted I'd every have the opportunity to stitch it. Well, here was Grace, on Thursday morning, offering to send me the chart! WOW!
And look what I got in my grubby little hands after I rushed home from work on Friday -
I'm still pinching myself! How kind and generous was that?
Thank you thank you thank you, Grace!
So guess what? My immediate stitching plans have just been turned on their head, although I'm going to force myself to complete a couple of WIPs first (SB Family Sampler and one or two small things). But that just gives me the chance to kit up the Etui first!
Woohoo!!

Stitchers rock, don't they? I'm glad that you were treated to such a nice gift! :)
Aren't you lucky! Although it looks pretty tricky to make to me. This might be one of those 'be careful what you wish for' designs!
How beautiful is that. What a lovely gift!
Hi Lesley, you lucky girl, I too loved the etui.Enjoy stitching it

Stitchers make the bestest friends.
Looking forward to seeing this one grow.
What a lovely generous thing for Grace to do. Now we look forward to seeing you stitching it :)
How wonderful to get such a fantastic gift ~ stitchers are just the best :-D
Hi Lesley, it was lovely meeting you and your little girl today at Mary Clare. You have a gorgeous blog, and your work is fantastic. Makes me want to start stitching again, well almost, maybe I'll just finish this one, or maybe three knitting projects I have on the go at the moment. Ah well maybe I'll just enjoy your stitching vicariously instead.

How nice! I can't wait to see how you stitch that pattern (after your take care of those other couple of WIPs first, of course) :)
Hey Lesley! It has been so long! Our babies are growing up before our eyes! I just saw the pic of Ione-she is SOOO cute! I love those boot/socks! Kellan is huge. He will be 8 months this week, 21 pounds, 30 inches. ! Can you believe it? I will have to have Mom put a new pic on her blog. Well, hope you are all well. I think of you from time to time... :) Write me when you get a moment. Take Care!
